Bringing together Serkan Küçüközcü's new body of works, the exhibition explores the themes memory, intuition, and the shifting relationship between inner and outer worlds. At first glance the works appear familiar, however, as the painting progresses, this familarity begins to dissolve. The figures move away from being the things they represent, and become carriers of a memory, traces of emotion, or an intutivite realm that cannot be explained. Each painting holds its own story. Rather than building one large, overarching narrative, "BADE" brings together a series of individual stories, each existing on its own while remaining open to the viewer's interpretation. It offers a proposition of meeting in a shared imaginary universe that completes the works together with the viewer. The exhibition therefore, presents meaning not as a fixed conclusion, but as an concept that gets continously reconstructed through the encounter between the work and its viewer. Ultimately, "BADE" positions painting as a dreamlike journey; a space where time can be paused, memory can be transformed, and a personal dream can come to life on the canvas. The exhibition "BADE", featuring a total of 20 new works can be visited at ANNA LAUDEL Istanbul from September 11 to November 1, 2026.
